After much tracking of weather, discussion and tears we decided that the safest choice was for us to stay in Vegas. Since I wasnt planning on having to cook a dinner we headed to the nearest casino for a buffet Thanksgiving dinner.
We learned a few things....
1.The buffet was really busy!
Here are Mitchell and Grace waiting in line.
2. If you want to get your moneys worth you need to take these two little girls with you!
They ate and ate and loved every minute of it!
Mitchell ate only a banana.
It was one expensive banana!
3. This was our meal. It was pretty good. Definitely not my Moms but good enough.
It was also nice not to have to worry about cleaning up afterwards!
We spent the rest of the weekend watching Christmas movie, decorating Christmas cookies and making gumdrop turkeys. Mitchell also ended up with another case of strep throat and Grace with ear infections. As sad as we were to be missing out on seeing our family it was probably good that we werent traveling in bad weather with sick kids.
