The kids started swimming lessons this last week. Gwendolyn loves it. Mitchell not so much, but his motivation is so that Uncle Blake cant drowned him again!
Gwendolyn is by far the youngest in her class. On the first day the teacher dunked each kid under the water three times. The first time he dunked Gwenie she came back up, sputtered, gaging and wiping her eyes. The teacher was taking her back to the wall cause he thought she would be upset. She looked at him and said "again". She had to finish all three dunks like all the other kids. She loves the water and has no fear.
Mitchell has had swimming lessons before but it ended up causing him to have more fear of the water. He is in a class with only one other boy. On the first day of lessons the other little boy would yell "dont poop in the pool" about every 20 seconds for the whole 45 minute lesson. I imagine the boys mother was hiding in the bathroom embarrassed since she never came to stop him!
