Mitchell has been SO very excited about Christmas this year. Every morning he gets up and makes his bed and cleans up. He even runs around the house picking up stuff all for the sake of Santa. A few week ago I was quietly listening as Mitchell was talking himself out of a fit in case Santa was watching. Mitchell and I were watching a Christmas cartoon the other night. He said "Mom I don't like the Santa in the cartoon. I like that real Santa that is always peeking in our windows!" So apparently we have the peeping Tom Santa at our house.
These pictures were taken at the Christmas Party. Mitchell thought that he would tell Santa that he wanted the Ultimate Bumblebee and Santa would pull it from his bag and give it to him on the spot. So when Santa said "Ive got something for you" then reached over and grabbed a candy cane Mitchell was more then a little disappointed. He kept insisting that they forgot to give him his Transformer. We had to pretty much drag him out of the room to keep him from marching back to Santa and demanding his gift.
Here is Gwenie. She is such a mommies girl and rarely lets anyone hold her that we were surprised that she even sat long enough to get a picture.
After we took her from Santa she couldn't keep her eyes off him. She was very curious and maybe a little bit in shock.

That is cute about Mitchell. I've been thinking about getting a stuffed elf to move around the house so the kids can see him "watching" them.
