We had signed Mitchell up for a charter school is was right infront of our subdivision. It was a week before the school was supposed to start and we hadnt heard anything. We called to check and he was way down on the list and probably wouldnt get in. On the first day of school the school called and said that they had space available in second grade if we still wanted Mitchell to attend. We did. So had to run out that evening and get the uniform/dress code for the next day. At first Mitchell was not happy about his vacation ending a week early and he was not happy about wearing only a black or red polo.
A couple weeks in and he loved the charter school. So far it is a great fit for him and he is happier then I have seen him while in school.
Gwendolyn started pre-school. She goes to a dance/gymnastics preschool. On Tuesdays the have tap and ballet and then preschool and Thursdays is gymnastics and preschool. She goes with her best friend Cali and is having a great time.
